When we designed this timepiece, our goal was to focus entirely on the quiet balance of motion, stillness, and organic materials. Every element on this dial was selected to complement one another in a silent, cosmic harmony.

The Design Inspiration
For the dial base, we chose genuine deep blue aventurine glass. It has a natural, subtle metallic glitter that closely captures the look of a quiet starfield in the midnight sky.

To contrast this deep, shimmering expanse, we set a white mother-of-pearl sub-dial at 12 o’clock. Hand-cut from organic shell, its soft, iridescent glow catches the light elegantly, paired with traditional heat-blued steel hands for absolute clarity.

But we also wanted to showcase the mechanical energy driving the watch. That is why we designed an open-heart aperture at 6 o’clock to fully expose the golden balance wheel. Powered by our custom self-winding automatic movement—calibrating at a high-frequency of 28,800 vph for a smooth sweep and offering a reliable 45-hour power reserve—seeing this wheel pulse creates a striking kinetic contrast against the calm, starlit backdrop above.

To frame this starry canopy, we encased the movement in marine-grade 316L stainless steel polished to a mirror finish, and finished the piece with a premium black leather strap that wears comfortably on the wrist.
